Halo: Reach vs. Halo 3

We all know about these top selling games. Ever since the start of Halo: Combat Evolved, It has been a hit game with over 14.8 million copies sold worldwide for just Halo 1 and Halo 2 only. Halo 3 had "more audio than 20 feature films combined." Each game that came out after Halo 2 (Halo 3, Halo ODST, and Halo Reach) were some of the most anticipated games of the year. The series is very popular. The 2 newest ones are very different though.

First off, the controls are different in both games, so if you think that before Reach came out it was a good idea to practice a lot on Halo 3, your wrong. In Halo 3 the melee button was B, the reload button was RB, swapping grenades was LB, and the armor effects were used with X. In Reach they are different. For melee its RB, reload is X, armor effects is LB, and to switch grenades, its B. Halo Reach also features movable cross hairs for guns, with each cross hair design being unique to that gun. And Reach also features different, more powerful guns, like the DMR, focus rifle, concussion rifle, etc.

Halo 3 did include stuff that people may have liked not to be changed (even though I like them better, its provides a more even gameplay). This was that there was no need to go get health packs, in Halo 3 it was just shields. And also there is no fall damage in Halo 3, but now there is in Reach, so no jumping from massively tall buildings and surviving it. Most people would say that Halo Reach is a lot better because the controls are easier, its a more rounded game to play online, and there are new abilities that one couldn't do in Halo 3.
